Bushra Zulfiqar
Bushra Zulfiqar brings almost two decades of experience in international development and human rights at the policy-making and implementation levels. She has an established track record of leading large-scale development programmes, delivering sustainable results, and impacting the lives of underprivileged and minority groups in Asia and worldwide. Bushra holds a Master's degree from the London School of Economics (LSE) in the UK and completed a Leadership Development course from Harvard University in 2019. She has led policy reforms, negotiated policy choices and trade-offs with various international partners, and has played a strategic leadership role in a highly complex global context. Bushra has worked in various senior management and leadership roles with the United Nations, World Bank, and UK Government Department for International Development and international NGOs such as Save the Children and Terre des Hommes. In addition to being the youngest Global Director (of Education) at Save the Children, a hundred-year-old organization, Bushra is also the first Pakistani woman to achieve that position. A writer, researcher, and advocate, Bushra has numerous articles and three published books to her credit.
